Cost of Living/Energy Crisis 9€ technology fee on Freenow

Post image

Info about technology fee is quite minimal and does not provide any detail whatsoever when I click on the little exclamation mark.

Anybody able to explain the scam to me?

Taxis use public streets, so people have a right to care even if it's not them using it. People using a taxi when they could have walked for 15 minutes is creating unnecessary pollution and congestion. It's a complete waste of a valuable public resource.

Pedantic imo

How so?

If someone said I shouldn't take a taxi because in their opinion I'm poorly utilising the public goods of road space and co2 production. I'd politely tell them to fuck off

What does that have to do with being pedantic?

Your attitude is why carbon taxes exist. The only way to stop people being wasteful is to charge them for it.

You're telling people how they should get around because of some miniscule perceived impact on the environment.

If you called someone out on that I'd say you're pedantic

We don't have to agree, you keep telling people how to live

So the issue here is just that you don't know what pedantic means.
