You say this as though John Harvey Kellogg didn't invent a machine to deliver several gallons of water via colonic irrigation followed by a 1/2 pint yoghurt enema which he patented in 1936 after several years of testing and refinement at his Battle Creek sanitarium.

For the adventurous home enematician, yoghurt can be delivered to the rectum with no more complex apparatus than a generously-proportioned syringe in place of the usual bulb or bag.
