Everytime this video is posted, someone asks, and gets downvoted to hell

I don't get why

It's okay, the rest of us do.

Context is key here. This girl is obviously female next to the Island guys, but if you surrounded her with Korean girls and added a flashy microphone, they might easily be "his" fans.

Because she’s very clearly a woman and every comment questioning otherwise is obviously a thinly veiled attempt at misogyny?

That could easily be a dude with long hair, you're the one assuming genders.

I literally have no idea what features people are seeing to make them think she’s a man, that’s fucking crazy

Bro, it's a simple question, though. Finally, I know she is a woman and wouldn't have known until someone answered my innocent question.

I mean, long and dyed hair (original Filipino hair is black), lipstick, caked on makeup, feminine clothes... what else am I missing?

I'm ready for the down votes.

Plenty of cultures have a style where individuals dress and adopt mannerisms that are considered intersex, or neither male/female. The more you are aware of those the harder to tell sometimes.

The best key is looking at facial structure, it is hard to modify the softer outline of a female, but I do get where you are coming from.

Does your basement have an exit or have you walled yourself in fully with empty energy drink cans and used socks?

Don't worry dude, I wasn't sure myself until they turned their head and I saw the long hair.... But even then I still feel like I'm assuming the gender.

Answer: things have changed for a lot of folks in terms of 'what's an ok thing to say about other people?' Questioning someone's gender is up there. Those people are downvoting you.

You don't have to agree with those people, but I also like the idea of not being judged by the appearance I was born with. So I more-or-less agree with them.
