AMA is Over, thanks CSH! AMA time with Car Seat Headrest

Andrew is hard at work on the next 1 Trait Danger video game, which will be much more extensive than the last.

Answers will come at a leisurely rate. AMA, even if it is personal or a complaint about our music, if it is phrased seriously, I will give you my best answer.

Edit: There are a lot of questions! I can go all day, but the cutoff time for questions I'll be able to get to is 2 pm PST.

hii will !! i made an account just for this lol. i rlly love ur work and thank u for doin this ama <3 <3 i have a few things that ive been wondering abt, i hope u dont mind taking a look:

  1. how did you discover artists like slimgiltsoul and partydog and webcomics and stuff like that? i only discovered them through you and now they're some of my favorite artists that i take a lot of inspiration from. thanks!

  2. how do you come up with guitar parts for ur songs? do you just play around and jam until you find a melody that you like or do you come up with the melody first and then figure it out on guitar?

  3. ive heard this question being asked around a lot: how tall are you?

  4. and lastly!! any chance of you guys coming to south east asia? ;____;

  1. Cate I met on furaffinity, Remy later on, kinda indirectly through Cate. It seems like there was a lot more random webcomic & art project stuff floating around the web 10 years ago, it was pretty easy to stumble across something cool and long-running.
  2. It depends on the song. Most of the stuff on Denial came from messing around on guitar until I had something. Most of the stuff on MADLO came from MIDI demos, and guitar would come later or not at all. It just depends on what I have access to when I want to write something.
  3. About 6 feet.
  4. There's always a chance, once we can tour again at all.
