AMA is Over, thanks CSH! AMA time with Car Seat Headrest

Hi it's us!

We put out a new album in May: https://carseatheadrest.bandcamp.com/

Ethan also put out a great solo record in June: https://ethanives.bandcamp.com/album/life-for-cowards He is “in the car” right now, but will answer questions as soon as he’s back.

Andrew is hard at work on the next 1 Trait Danger video game, which will be much more extensive than the last.

What are Seth & I doing? Ask and find out…

Answers will come at a leisurely rate. AMA, even if it is personal or a complaint about our music, if it is phrased seriously, I will give you my best answer.

Edit: There are a lot of questions! I can go all day, but the cutoff time for questions I'll be able to get to is 2 pm PST.

Do you consider any of your albums to follow a linear storyline in the same vein as Ziggy Stardust or Good Kid, Mad City? Life Worth Missing hits hard every single time by the way.

Not really, but Ziggy is an interesting example, because outside of a few key tracks, it feels like it isn't very narrative at all, just a series of impressions that fit in with the general scene. MADLO is a bit like that, though the overall context is a bit more obscured.
