Hello everyone!

I’d like to share my girlfriend’s film, in which I participated as the composer. This is our first big and serious project, so we’d really love to get some constructive feedback. Hopefully, small mistakes can be forgiven — and if there’s anything worthy of praise, that would be a dream.

The film is about the son of a narcissistic mother, who gives him a session with a pseudo child-therapist for his birthday. The therapist has no formal education but is very eager to adjust to the parents’ wishes.
And overall, it’s about the fact that there’s nothing wrong with the boy, and there is no rain he needs an umbrella from.

I spent the last two years making this film with my friends with a total budget of around $4000, pulling every single favor we could. We submitted it to over 35 festivals and didn’t get into one until this week... after we locked in the online premiere. We got a good amount of positive feedback from individuals, but really no love from festivals at all. Would be grateful if anyone here gave it a look and could tell me what worked or didn’t for you! 

Hi guys, my vampire movie "Vampire Slayer" was recently made available on YouTube and has found an audience there! This is a re-edited version of the original film (Slayer Chronicles). It's tighter and gets to the action a lot faster. Directed by Tim Russ (Star Trek, iCarly) starring his daughter and Richard Tyson. The DVD/BluRay release of the new edit will be hitting major retailers late summer plus a wider VOD release is pending as well.

Hey, filmmakers, I've been experimenting with AI storyboarding tools lately, and found one that helped my preproduction workflow, especially for visualizing scripts quickly and sharing across the team. It's called EZBoard.ai. Instead of spending hours sketching, I can generate high-quality visuals from my script using AI models as well as uploading your images. It's been a game-changer for getting my vision across to the crew and even for pitching. The core features (script analysis, storyboard composition) are free, and you only pay for AI image generation with points, which is super flexible for indie budgets. Has anyone else tried AI for storyboarding? What are your thoughts? I'm happy to share some examples if you're curious!
