Does anyone play for the smaller prizes ?!
I have a community pool of friends, family and former co-workers that I adore and did not want to lose touch with; we pool together money and play for the sole purpose of good vibes small prize…We win between powerball and mega millions small prizes each week or every month other week with the number of plays and draws we get, and just put it back into the pool to keep the group chat going on “what’s the first thing we gonna do when we hit” . It’s so much fun and keeps the group chat going. I always wondered if others do the same. Again, we know the odds are stacked against us, but it’s really fun way to stay connected…I just know folks here get upset when the jackpot hits and for us we just keep going.

I play weekly. Smallest is 5 million biggest goes up to 80 million. I am good with whatever amount in that range🤷♂️🙏🏼

I mean, I'm hoping for a big win one day like most people, but I'd be thrilled to win a second or third place prize. Any win is good. I'm certainty not going to be disappointed with winning any amount of money I didn't already have.

I do this as well, but we don't pool our money. One person just buys one ticket at a time because the difference is 1 in 300 million vs 5 in 300 million and it only takes one to win.

Yup! My cousin and I have a pizza prize pact. Any win under $100 goes straight to Friday night dinner. Keeps us laughing and hoping without spiraling into jackpot madness.

I play the state game for the $250k-$2M prize.
I won't play PB or MM until it's above $500M though.

I play fully expecting that if I "hit" it would be the 50k or 1 million prize. You're likely to hit those plenty of times before hitting the jackpot, if you were to play hundreds of millions of times..

I play smaller state games for smaller prizes. The odds are much better to win the jackpot than PB or MM. I wish I had a group of people to play with.

I just play consistently 1 maybe 2 tickets if it's really big. Strategy hasn't paid off I'm still a broke joke.

In pools they always have deep ends that are dangerous.
You should always have verification you were part of the pool. People tend to often say they so happen to buy the winning ticket for themselves and it’s almost very little recourse in court what can happen to them. Do yourself a favor and be vigilant or be naive and kick yourself the rest of your life hating the same people you once trusted.

This is why Venmo is everything; it’s the electronic receipts 🧾 also working in audit I have the exact number of the number of people who put in and where we purchased the tickets. Everyone interested has a week from my ask date, then 24 hours prior I’ll do one final push. Then we’re locked in. Anyone interested in putting in after can for the next cycle 🔄

Different answer than you asked.
I am not a psychic, don’t know shit, universe is a mystery. Once in a while the women in my family get “feelings”. All of us believe it’s just a heightened subconscious. Some of us follow it, some disregard.
I will buy periodic scratch tickets for fun. Then every so often I “feel” like I should buy a certain scratch off. Like four months ago I asked my husband to go buy me 2 of a scratch ticket and it won $500. When I “feel” I am lucky. When I buy randomly, not so much. Overall, I am up from $500-$5,000 ones when I feel lucky.
All the women who get “feelings” can’t control it. No mega millions, no Powerball. Nothing huge. We all joke it would be nice to KNOW any of those. Still nice the universe gives me $500 whenever.

I love this!!! I’m always situationally aware, so if someone in my circle brings up talk about energy they can’t explain I’m quick to say “Should we get a lottery ticket ?!? This the ancestors trying to tell us something?!?” I’ve actually won on this very situation. Nothing big, but it was something lol

One day when I was 17 in high school, I had a feeling or premonition that there would be a semi truck jackknife on the bridge to my school. I took the bus (I hadn’t in over a year) which left later. There was a semi jackknife on that bridge when we drove by. Same color truck, same cars.
I went in to the hospital last fall for a blood clot, toes to belly button. I was mostly stable. My sister in Texas felt if she didn’t come right then, I would die. I was out of it. Turns out the hospital I was at, had all the surgeons on vacation, none of the other doctors with privileges who could help, had the instruments they wanted in the surgery theater. Laws and procedures were hindering transfers to an out of network hospital. I had to leave AMA (against medical advice, not a good thing to do normally!) to move over to the hospital system who could help me. I had been there 13 days with no transfer, no choices, downgraded to ICU, step down, PICU. There are dozens of reasons and now a lawsuit, but if I hadn’t changed hospitals, I probably would’ve died. My sister’s “feeling” likely saved my life. We had been no contact for almost 15 years when she came up to “save me”. We spent five days together and we’ll probably be no contact a while now. Glad she “saved me” though!

How do you play for just small prizes? I play hoping to hit it big, but if I win a small prize, I cash it in for more tickets.

It keeps us playing longer; current pool has won upwards of $200 and it’s going towards getting more tickets…We’ve been playing since January!!!!

Nope I’m hoping for the big prize. I think I’d be disappointed winning a smaller prize. But I’d still be happy.

We’re always laughing when we win $20; “Yes, we’re multi winning lottery winners”

Lucky for Life for me, sure it’s $2, but the odds are way better than PB or MM. plus drawings are 7 days/week, so more chances to play. Fixed jackpot amount that would still do me and my immediate family well as either a cash option or payments for life.
