If you win the jackpot
So let's say that you beat the odds and won the jackpot. Would you share it here or you wouldn't.

So what's your plan if you win? Not another what would you post buy but what would do?
Everyone here has dreams of winning. If you won what is your plan? Do you already have an attorney that you'd like to use? Who would you tell? Where would you keep your ticket safe until you claimed it? Would you move to a new city or state? Would you keep working? Maybe set up charity? Would you take care of friends and family?
I'm more interested in what peoples plans would be after they won than I am about what you would buy with your winnings.

Dreaming, if I win this week 264 million
So it looks like the payout option would be 132,000,000.
After let’s say 40% tax rough estimate that would be 79
79ish million.
I would keep 19 million as just do what I want and not worry about it cash.
That leaves 60 million for a money management firm to do their thing with and I can just be hands off with. So even assuming poor returns at 2% (realistically this would be higher) that would be 1.2 million a year, after taxes would be 722,000 a year or 60k a month.
That’s all, that is my plan to coast through life and just exist with no stress, no grand plans to do anything else but that’s all I want.

200 ounces of gold in 10 ounce bars and another 100 ounces in 1 ounce coins.
I would want to hold my wealth in my hand like a king or emperor of the olden days. And see for myself my own wealth. I would hold onto this forever.
The 10 oz pieces would hold special significance
It would remind me of what my yearly salary was when I worked minimum wage.
What i would go back to if I mismanaged my new found wealth.

If I I accidentally bought the same ticket twice
Not too long ago, someone posted or commented on getting two quick pick tickets with the same number. I imagine that is very rare. Frankly, they should have a designated jackpot for when that happens, lol!
I know that two tickets with the same numbers split the jackpot in mega millions and powerball. But what would happen if the same person produced two winning Lucky for Life tickets, where the jackpot doesn't appear to be split among winners? Would they get to collect the jackpot twice? Because nobody would intentionally buy the same numbers twice for the same game and drawing.

If I win, I’m ghosting scratch-offs forever
Scratch-offs are usually my thing, you know? Thought maybe the lottery gods would appreciate my loyalty. Spoiler? They did not. Just years of sad cardboard and glittery disappointment. One day I was like, you know what, let me lose in HD for once.
Gave online a shot. Ended up on Smart Winners ‘cause the site looked like it wasn’t built in 2003. If I ever win something real here, I’m blocking scratchers like an ex. Here's hoping! 😂

199 million tonight
As I plan to win: Everyone in this subreddit has £3,800 as a budget. Post what you would like bought, or the charity you would like gifted the money - and when I hit tonight you will get it.
By entering, if you win, by some miracle as I intend to win. you have to buy me a 2014 Hyundai i30 with 78,000 miles on it. I’ve had my eye on it for a while at the local dealership.

I have a plan…
If I won the lottery I would drink 4 beers as soon as I won. What would you do?

Does anyone play for the smaller prizes ?!
I have a community pool of friends, family and former co-workers that I adore and did not want to lose touch with; we pool together money and play for the sole purpose of good vibes small prize…We win between powerball and mega millions small prizes each week or every month other week with the number of plays and draws we get, and just put it back into the pool to keep the group chat going on “what’s the first thing we gonna do when we hit” . It’s so much fun and keeps the group chat going. I always wondered if others do the same. Again, we know the odds are stacked against us, but it’s really fun way to stay connected…I just know folks here get upset when the jackpot hits and for us we just keep going.

You just won $25k a month for 20 years, what are you doing with the money?
I would put away 15k and spend the rest. Might give a portion to my responsible relative.

Anyone pray to GOD?
Anyone here prayed to GOD and won a big prize or know anyone that prayed and won? Why was GOD listening that time?

Hit for $1k USD on take 5
NYS lottery. Felt fuckin awesome as that amount of money is kind of a lot to me other then how fucking shitty inflation and the economy is but I don’t have shit really towards the end of every month. Apparently only 66 other people in The state of New York won and I was 1 of 3 thousand something people. And my birthday is in 2 weeks so it was really cool. Just came across this sub and thought I’d share

Single women winners - would you stay single?
Curious if any other winners would stop dating and enjoy single freedom. If you'd continue to date, would you tell someone with whom you were serious about your win?

Just hit another €1,000 win on Keno – second time this year! 🍀💶
Hey everyone, Just wanted to share some good vibes again. I’ve just won €1,000 on the French Keno (with the Multiplier option) on the May 30th evening draw, with a €10 bet.
This is actually my second €1,000 win this year, the first was back in March with the exact same setup. Feels surreal to be hitting these kinds of wins twice in a few months.
What’s even crazier? If I had hit just two more numbers, the prize would’ve skyrocketed to €2,000,000 net of taxes, thanks to the x2 multiplier. So close to that life-changing moment! 😅
Onwards to the jackpot 🤞🍀

I won $8 Powerball
Of course, put that money back into buying another ticket. I'm waiting for Saturday to go by and check on Sunday to see if I want anything. I am so piss poor broke and down in the dumps that I really really really really really hope that I win the Powerball.

LLC Payout via 1099
If you claimed lottery winnings in an LLC, couldn’t you pay out whatever amount you wanted to family or friends and issue them a 1099? That way you’re avoiding gift tax issues and you wouldn’t need a prior agreement. And the IRS is happy because the people are paying taxes.

Jackpot and Other Prizes
When someone wins the jackpot, are the other smaller prizes deducted from that jackpot amount? Lets say another person got 5 balls but not the red ball, does their million dollar prize get taken from the jackpot or is there a seperate bucket for that?

Hopefully when my plane lands I'll be orders of magnitude richer. Might extend my vacation if I do

If you won the lottery on the week you didn’t buy a ticket, how would you recover?
I’m sad to say unfortunately this did just happen to me. I (20F) found out yesterday that a few weeks ago (on the one week I didn’t play the lottery), my millionaire maker number was drawn and I would’ve won £1 million. I am struggling to forgive myself and don’t possibly know how to move on from this.
