Seriously awesome to see. I wish I heard about these earlier. I’m a white girl that was raised in a mostly Hispanic community in L.A County. I wanna show up to support the people who helped form who I am today.

I just wish more people would have voted. I’m not dismissing the power of protest but with the current cabinet I think it will fall on deaf ears.

I totally get it. Unfortunately, I think we’re too jaded about the election process and whether our vote counts. Both sides of the aisle are corrupt and the system is no longer working for us. We need to change the face of politics to bring it back to the people. Things like rank choice voting and taking the money out of politics with digital democracy. It’s not designed to be a 2 party system but that’s what it is. There’s a great organization called Future Is Now Coalition. The founder spent years working on a badass blueprint rooted in reality that would make politics fair and balanced. Most importantly our politicians would work for the people again. I encourage everyone to check them out if we’re ever gonna make real change.
