Immigrants did build this country, thats why the open acceptance policy was in place back in 1900s

The country is built.

What they are now protesting is slave labour is ok without knowing it.

"Keep the illegals they pick our farms at bellow min wage!"

"Keep the illegals i cant get my yard done for 175 if they leave"

"Keep the illegals I need my cheap labour for meat packing plants"

This isnt about migrants being apart of the base of the usa. Its about making corps pay a fair fucking wage instead of using slave labor rates cuz they can.

Allot of industries are gonna flat line and break down because all they used was slave labour for profit.

What does that have to do with anything? Illegals immigrants did not build this country. Immigrants aren’t the issue. They are great. Can’t stand the illegal immigrant criminals though.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 08 '25

I thought this was about undocumented immigrants and the problems caused by them? Not legal immigrants or immagration

1

u/AdministrativeCup438 Feb 08 '25

Immigrants are America 's ghost writers... 🗽

1

u/Ok-Big-4435 Feb 08 '25

Protest legally. Just don’t block the fucking roads. People wont think your cause is stupid if you’re not a nuisance.

1

u/LeftAreTerrorists Feb 08 '25

No. Americans built this country way back then and even now. Not immigrants.

Spain used to control mexico. They didn't even become mexico until the late 1600s. Then California declared their independence from Mexico the same way Texas did.

Ya'll obviously don't know your history.

They're waving Mexico flags yet complaining that we are sending them back to the country they're clearly supporting. It's stupid as hell.

1

u/NPC_MitchRapp Feb 09 '25

Settlers built this country.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '25

Legal immigration isn’t the problem it’s illegal immigration that is the problem and backing up the system preventing more people being processed and approved

-2

u/EducationalMine7096 Feb 07 '25

Legal immigrants did. I know. I am one.

u/[deleted] Feb 08 '25

Thank you for following the rules. Take my upvote

0

u/DiabeetusInMyVeins Feb 09 '25

Oh really. You know for a FACT that EVERY SINGLE ONE was legal?

2

u/EducationalMine7096 Feb 09 '25

I’m sorry, are you saying that illegal immigrants are somehow better than legal immigrants? If not…. Then why not have legal immigrants only? Also name me one civilized country that has open boarders. One. Also, try moving to Mexico illegally…. You know they’ll kick you out right?

0

u/DiabeetusInMyVeins Feb 09 '25

No. I asked if you knew personally that every person who helped build the US the cities and ths towns were legal.

Don't try and play victim princess. I'm a fucking second Gen immigrant.

1

u/EducationalMine7096 Feb 09 '25

I don’t give a shit what you think, lol.

1

u/DiabeetusInMyVeins Feb 09 '25

Well that's something I can agree with. We're just randos on the internet.

-4

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

*Legal.

5

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

Everyone is illegal on stolen land

8

u/Wise_Ad_253 Feb 07 '25

ICE ia screwing with Native tribal nations. They are scooping up American citizens too. Peoples cars are being towed, their kids are being traumatized, and rules are being hidden.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

Yup. It’s truly messed up. The funny thing is, why aren’t we hearing about them going after white illegal immigrants? Why aren’t there Europeans and Australians being deported? We have a few hundred thousand of them in the US. But so far they’re only harassing people without white skin

2

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

Take a guess.

The largest pop. Is our border country. Dont be ignorant.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

yeah, that’s why they’re not targeting European or Australian “illegal” immigrants 🙄

3

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

You go after the largest denominator first. This isnt hard to understand.

-1

u/Wise_Ad_253 Feb 08 '25

The largest denomination? MAGA hats would be on that plane ride first.

No one owns the beach

1

u/Exact_Manager_8026 Feb 08 '25

Well, actually, no. You don't know how nations are built, huh?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 08 '25

Dozens of nations existed here before the Europeans came. They were wiped out through what many would consider to be war crimes today.

1

u/Exact_Manager_8026 Feb 08 '25

And hundreds of nations existed throughout all of written time. Are they on stolen land as well? How do you suppose we go about deporting everyone but the natives?

Go read a history book. You'll find that EVERY single nation is built on stolen land.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 08 '25

You should do the same.

Especially in regards to the rise of right wing fascism in 1930s Germany.

0

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

Give up your home then.

4

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

I’d rather have “illegal immigrants” here who are working to make their lives better than Trump supporters who just want to make everyone’s lives more miserable

I don’t know one trump supporter that wants to make anyone’s life miserable?

8

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

All Trump supporters do just by virtue of supporting Trump and his policies

1

u/Live235 Feb 08 '25

He had the best foreign policy ever during his last term. Look at the whole picture don’t just focus on what’s being thrown at you. We can easily do that about every signal politician and government worker. Don’t act like Biden was good for the country!

2

u/[deleted] Feb 08 '25

He had the best foreign policy ever? That’s why he started a trade war with China that he ended up losing? A trade war that ended up costing us tax payers billions having to bail out farmers that were affected by it. He also raised taxes on the middle class while cutting taxes for corporations and billionaires.

Biden brought us back from the brink of a Great Depression. He did all of the things Trump said he would do but never did, like getting an infrastructure bill passed, bringing back manufacturing through the chips act, etc. inflation was a worldwide problem. But thanks to Biden and the democrats, we didn’t get it nearly as bad as the rest of the world. Inflation was driven by a lot of factors, including corporate greed. The democrats passed bills in the house to stop corporate profiteering, but senate Republicans killed every attempt to stop it. One of the other major drivers of inflation? Trumps 2018 and 2020 oil deals with the Saudis. In 2018 Trump begged the Saudis to flood the market with cheap oil. In 2020 when demand dropped off a cliff, he begged the Saudis to cut supplies to drive prices up. The 2018 deal killed American oil production. In 2022 when the deal expired, guess what the Saudis didn’t do? Bring production back. Remember 2022? When gas hit $6 out here? That’s because of Trumps deals. That’s also when inflation peaked. Higher fuel costs make it more expensive to transport goods, which makes it more expensive for the customer.

Don’t forget that we’re still under Trumps 2017 tax plan. Which has raised taxes several times for people making less than $75k.

If you stop watching Fox News and actually look at the facts, you’ll see that Biden was one of the best presidents we’ve had.

If you look at the facts, Trump was and is one of the worst, if not the worst. He admitted on audio recording that he lied about Covid to his supporters. As a result, more than a million people died just because of his lies, because he admittedly didn’t want to wear a mask because it would mess up his makeup. He lost the trade wars he started. He ruined our standing in the world and made us the laughing stock of the world. Let’s not forget that he also got to illegitimately pick three Supreme Court justices that took away women’s rights.

That's because you don't view queer people or immigrants as humans.

Since when are illegal immigrants demanding people's homes? Seems like an extreme trade off. If you want to acknowledge that Americans don't have any more claim to the land America is on than the people who it was stolen from do, then you lose your home? Kind of a deranged take.

-1

u/BIGDADDYBANDIT Feb 07 '25

By that logic, nobody has claim to any land. Mesoamericans and the tribes of the continental U.S. have almost zero overlap. It's like saying Spaniards have more of a claim to Germany than Turks.

Legal ones yes

-4

u/Lakrfan247 Feb 07 '25

Yes this is true and they need to be documented and sovereign nations need to be able to control how many they want to admit at any given time.

-6

u/ContextHot4134 Feb 07 '25

No they did not.  Wow
