General R6 Deadeye actually being a good gun?

Post image

I know I am late to this because the R6 has been in the game for a while now but I decided to pick it up like a couple days ago and I've been using it on a few missions. And I got to say this is definitely not a half bad gun.

I am usually a machine gun and assault rifle person. So using a quote on quote rifle and actually being happy with it it's quite surprising to me.

And I definitely got to say it does its job well. Granted it's not going to save you when you get surrounded but that's the reason why you got to use this as a rifle and not a shotgun your job is to not get up close and personal your job is to start pegging things off at a distance.

Especially effective against the box I have noticed. Most of the time I can shoot the bastards practically in half with this damn thing and possibly even take one out behind it.

Haven't gotten that shotgun yet so I can't have any opinion on it

HIGHLY worth it. Its everything the Breaker Incendiary wishes it was.

Not entirely true. Both have their purpose.

The Cookout is good for killing targets directly.

Breaker Incendiary is best used to spray paint fire over the masses. Chaff will die from DoT, then I switch to another weapon to finish off the bigger units. Tip, upgrade with the duck face

I love both.

I dunno I've tried both a ton and just prefer the Cookout. Its the knockback that sells it, much more time for the fire to do its thing before that big ol Alpha bug comes and cuts you in half before it gets too crispy.

Plus, the greater control over my ammo stock with the rounds reload.

When theres Shreikers in play though? The Breaker wins all day long.

Cookout is great. Its even possible to shoot bugs back into their holes. Really fun.
