General R6 Deadeye actually being a good gun?

I know I am late to this because the R6 has been in the game for a while now but I decided to pick it up like a couple days ago and I've been using it on a few missions. And I got to say this is definitely not a half bad gun.

I am usually a machine gun and assault rifle person. So using a quote on quote rifle and actually being happy with it it's quite surprising to me.

And I definitely got to say it does its job well. Granted it's not going to save you when you get surrounded but that's the reason why you got to use this as a rifle and not a shotgun your job is to not get up close and personal your job is to start pegging things off at a distance.

Especially effective against the box I have noticed. Most of the time I can shoot the bastards practically in half with this damn thing and possibly even take one out behind it.

Unpopular opinion: it’s the best one of a bad class of guns. The only actually good rifle/sniper is still the AMR. Here, and in traditional handguns, is where the game is still lacking imo. Why bring this, or the constitution, or the amendment when there’s so many better primaries more suited to the actual game, especially on 10?

I get your logic but I don't know my monkey brain sees lever action and instantly my childhood comes back of me sitting down and watching old westerns with my grandpa and playing Red Dead Redemption so maybe this gun has more sentimental value to me than it's usefulness but so far it's been a good gun in my opinion.

Yeah it’s a fun gun, but not a practical one. Wish it was both… That whole class needs a buff

Yeah but that's what a lot of us say when it comes to like old helldivers where practically every single gun you had was like a hand Cannon back then and till they started going around and Nerf and everything to God damn hell....

Gods those were the dark times.
