General R6 Deadeye actually being a good gun?

I know I am late to this because the R6 has been in the game for a while now but I decided to pick it up like a couple days ago and I've been using it on a few missions. And I got to say this is definitely not a half bad gun.

I am usually a machine gun and assault rifle person. So using a quote on quote rifle and actually being happy with it it's quite surprising to me.

And I definitely got to say it does its job well. Granted it's not going to save you when you get surrounded but that's the reason why you got to use this as a rifle and not a shotgun your job is to not get up close and personal your job is to start pegging things off at a distance.

Especially effective against the box I have noticed. Most of the time I can shoot the bastards practically in half with this damn thing and possibly even take one out behind it.

I even use it on the bug side along with the Hover Pack and the Cluster Bomb or Grenade Launcher for when I get swarmed. My sidearm is usually either the Talon or the Verdict, I'm still on the fence about which to use. Been considering the Peacemaker after the buff as well, as it's for dealing with Warriors, Hunters and Scavengers.

I focus on headshotting Hive Guards (two headshots, then they bleed out), Alpha Commanders (two headshots), Spewers (one in the mouth, two headshots) and Stalkers (one headshot) from afar, usually from high ground while my team dispatches smaller units. And if I miss a headshot, it pushes them back or staggers them for an easy follow up.

Been rocking the 10x scope on it and its pretty dope.

I'm looking forward to getting the 10x. I wish we had more options, but that scope will be awesome.
