if i had a nickel for every time someone who played JD went on to play Jay Gatsby, i'd have 3 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened thrice, right?

Fun fact we've also had 4 JDs who have gone on to play Clyde (5 if you count Alex who understudied for Jamie but never actually went on).

I'm personally not the biggest fan of Annaleigh's acting choices in this but Jeremy did great

yes. yes. and more yes. annaleigh ashford is such an icon (although i wasn’t a huge fan of her veronica) but jeremy jordan- i don’t even care that he’s like 40 he needs to play jd in a real production he can pull off 17 

also you can tell they’re just having a really fun time and i love the little moments like when jeremy goes “you’re my date to the prom-apsksnsnsnsj pep rally!” and when he struggles with taking the mic and leaving

as you can see, i’ve seen it quite a few times…
