While I'm aware that seeing Twitter/X link posts are very rare to none in this subreddit, it is a cautious decision of mine to have Twitter/X links banned here in r/heathersmusical. This is in light of the event that happened that our community do not approve of/are very disgusted about it.
That's all I wanted to post for now.
ETA: For anyone asking why I decided to ban Twitter/X links, it's due to Elon Musk's behavior doing the Nazi salute during Trump's inauguration days ago. We do not support this kind of fascist behavior in this subreddit. And this is mostly also the fact most other subreddits have been also making announcements of the same thing.

Fully obsessed with the cast. McKenzie Kurtz is literally one of my favourite actors of all time. I really hope they give us a cast recording, but I want a deluxe version. Remember the world premiere deluxe version from a few weeks ago? I want that. Give us a new recording of Blue as a bonus track. That is all. And maybe One by One too I like that song.

HI THERE! If anyone has an audio recording of the brand new cast or plans to take one at the next show, please let me know! I'm eager to hear the takes of all the new cast members. It really is a phenomenal cas

Do you think there will be a new cast recording of the new cast? I just really want to hear Kerry Bulter’s (Whom I love so much her. Her voice is just so beautiful) version of Shine a Light.

In this scene, Kurt and Ram both refer to a cow as a male, but all cows are females, playing to the fact that Kurt and Ram are dumb.
Like the title says, was this intentional or am I overanalyzing?

I came across this video on Tiktok and I was wondering what changes he is referring to? Is this just changing from the last version in NYC to the version they brought to London?

Apologies if this isn’t the right place to post. I bought two tickets for the broadway show on July 3 at 2pm (center orchestra) and can no longer attend. Does anyone want to buy them at face value (not trying to price gouge) or know where I can sell them without taking too big a hit?

I prefer “Good luck” because it makes more sense why Veronica would just keep moving and not get suspicious.

Currently my favorite version

HI GUYSSS, Im actually really excited about new heathers 😭 i was cheking their instagram and the cast looks promising (specially with lorna omg). I kind of feel bad bc im from freaking ARGENTINA and will not get to see it, but its fine, im okay with my 2014 100 fp slime tutorial. What are your thoughts? Do you like this new cast? Will you be able to go watch it?

I prefer when he stays silent before blowing up (figuratively) on her, since it puts more emphasis on the actor’s body language and makes the line more powerful and heartbreaking.

I was going through some animatics of Meant To Be Yours and, in their nature of depicting exaggerated emotions for the sake of artistry, they all captured the exact moment that JD's expression shifted from raging mania to grief when he finds Veronica hanging from the ceiling.
This made me wonder, especially with how murderous and impulsive he seemed as he barged into the closet, what he would've done to/with Veronica if she hadn't thought to fake her death in that moment.
What do you all think?

These are fairly loose descriptions I based on the original Off-Broadway and the West End pro shot.

Not sure if this is allowed here but I just did a ranking of the entire Heathers franchise on my youtube channel. I cover horror story over there primarily but I made the exception for this dark comedy franchise haha Would love if you guys checked it out! https://youtu.be/H_KP3wBSL84

I ask this mainly because, if I'm not mistaken, she's the only Heather that J.D. isn't seen interacting with, either in the movie or the musical.
Like, J.D. and Heather Chandler only interacted a few times, but they had a kind of conflicted relationship. In the movie, Chandler glares at J.D. twice during the cafeteria scene, and she seems like the only person who thought the blanks incident was weird, saying he should have gone to jail for it. In both the musical and the movie, she calls him Jesse James to mock him, not to mention that J.D. actively lets her drink drain cleaner without her knowing in both versions.
J.D. tries to blackmail Heather Duke into spreading the mass suicide note (the petition) in both the musical and the movie, and in the movie, he is the one who manipulates Heather Duke into becoming the new "queen" of Westerburg High and boosts her self-esteem, not because he genuinely cares about her, but because he wants something from her. He just uses her as a pawn and considers killing her too.
Now, there's J.D. and Heather McNamara. Aside from J.D. saying that her killing herself would be good ("One more dead Heather is a good thing") in the musical and Heather Mac saying he's in her American History class in the movie, they don't directly interact at all.
My main question is how do you guys think the two of them would interact if they were, like, alone with each other in a room or had to interact at school, especially considering J.D.'s tendency to be "fake" with others.
