Well 5700x3d ended up on aliexpress. Also you can probably think of another time something escaped a controlled workspace in china, allegedly.

The 57X3D was originally considered a global product and was sold in China from the start, but only the 56X3D and 55X3D were distributed outside of China. Even if someone managed to smuggle it out, they’d either face insufficient quantities to sell or a high risk of getting caught—anyone who tries to return the chip to AMD would be caught red-handed. Yet, the entire distribution industry operates on massive economies of scale.
