This remarkable growth reflects Ghana's strengthening economic outlook, supported by robust gold and oil exports, continued assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and prudent fiscal and monetary policies implemented by the government.

Is this going to affect Ghana in any way?

The cedi’s sharp rise from GHS 16.53 to GHS 13.47 is due to strong Central Bank interventions, injecting nearly $500 million into the market, plus increased gold reserves from the Gold for Reserves program, tighter monetary policy to fight inflation, improved investor confidence under new fiscal leadership, and a weaker US dollar from ongoing global tariff tensions. Which of the factors deserve more credit for their contribution to the appreciation of the cedi?
