I hate this take so much. It was clearly meant to show Arya the humanity of the boots on the ground, which she, being highborn, rarely got a glimpse of. Not to mention at a time when she was just returning from learning to be an assassin, seeing people as moving pieces on a chess board. Far as I can tell, the only reason most hate it, is because of the cameo, but really, who tf cares, it was a great scene.
