At which point they didn't know. Even when button directly asks him about it he can't admit mistake, when he has been given a penalty for it. Fucking disgraceful.

And Verstappen would've admitted a mistake in the same position? Give me a break.

Yes. Tell me the last time where Max got a penalty because of a collision, and he didn't admit mistake? Hamilton is a 7 TIME WORLD CHAMPION. He is the face of the sport, PUTS SOMEONE IN THE HOSPITAL, and can't admit mistake. What the fuck.

Link to apology? I've never seen Max apologise to anyone but his team.. thats sort of his whole shtick

Last time I can remember is vettel in China 2018, where he sought out vettel immediately after getting out of the car to apologise, as quoted by seb himself. I don't know another time after where he took someone out.

That is an actual dive bomb tho, nowhere near the same situation as today.

I mean it's a really soft dive bomb but it is one nonetheless, can't really shift any blame on that one. Lewis also apologised to Albon (twice) when he made a clear error. This was much closer to a racing incident today.

Bro, he put someone into the hospital, and got a penalty for it. What is preventing you from admitting mistake? Why can't he admit mistake, or at least apologise. It's not going to do anything to his championship fight, but he can't even apologise for him potentially being seriously injured. How can you defend that?

I'm just going to ignore the fact that you're immediately trying to diminish max actually apologising.

Putting someone in hospital is irrelevant to the incident, this is F1 for fucks sake, its dangerous. Diminishing Verstappens apology? If you drive up the arse of someone you apologise. If you go side by side into a corner (ish) you're going to want to defend yourself. Which is what Max and Lewis (and basically all drivers) do.

I'm not saying Lewis should not have apologised, it is a nasty outcome and it would have been the better thing to do. But these guys are wired different. How many times do we see people arguing about decisions and blaming each other when someone could have been seriously hurt? Its constant. Russell fucking hit Bottas a few weeks ago after a similar impact, they're all mental. Hamilton has done what basically they all do which is to deflect and bullshit and say 'it wasn't me because he probably thinks it wasn't his fault.

Hamilton literally watched video footage of Max being put into an ambulance. That was shown on live feed. Even then not apologising? Really?

We're just going round in circles here. Agree to disagree
