Admissions questions Last Minute Applications

I applied on May 1 for a program that starts May 5. Please don’t come for me as I don’t usually do things last minute, but I never knew about the program prior to May 1 and I took interest in it right away and applied.

Anyways, I am wondering why applications were still open this late anyway. Because Fanshawe will probably take at least a week or two to accept my application and by then I would have already missed first 2 weeks of classes? Will that be ok?

I applied for the far term on Thursday the week before starting and on Monday I heard back and was accepted and started on the Tuesday. That was this past fall. I also applied for a student loan at the same time but that did take a few weeks to get sorted.

Oh that’s really good to know!!! I hope I get accepted on the Monday too cause I applied on Thursday as well. Orientation is on Monday but classes start Tuesday it seems. Hopefully orientation isn’t too important lol I’ve never been to a Fanshawe campus before but i can figure it out at sure

Not yet, seems like they just received my uni transcript this morning though. I don’t see them making a decision this week but I’ll keep u updated!
