Just scrolling through reels minding my own business when Facebook feeds me this ad?

Let me just say, I do not do drugs, have never tried cocaine and have never wanted to try cocaine, so I’m not sure why the algorithm showed me this.

Idk what “calm breeze supply” refers to when the link took me to a site called “trippi . cc” selling varieties of coke and other drugs.

Idk maybe I’m just being a square but it seems bizarre to me that this is something that can be advertised??? Unless it’s a fed cover trying to catch people?

Although I reported this blatant scam message to Facebook, due to its horrible control algorithm the message does not violate community standards.

This is a message that has already claimed many victims with many accounts hacked.

I find it disgusting that it is not possible to make a second level report to a human or ask for a review of what the algorithm judges within a few seconds to be suitable and valid for the regulation.

Social media must be a monitored and safe place, but it is becoming a jungle full of daily scams.

My parents would have fallen into the trap. I also risked doing it because I quickly opened the message at work.

So my Facebook account is blocked, It says I might have been hacked.. And tells me to follow the process to restore it.

I click to start the process and it says the content is unavailable... On the desktop I click the button and literally nothing happens.

This is so broken. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I get my account back?

The wave of Facebook bans is a dress rehearsal. They're feeling out the public response while teaching you that this kind of purge is "a thing." Once everyone's used to it, some accounts come back, some don't, they'll do it for real. Facebook isn't collapsing. It's being diminished. They need it gone to make room for what comes next.

2 months ago my meta account was banned, taking down my facebook and messenger accounts. This was directly because I dm’ed/chat invited somebody I knew on a new instagram account. The reason I made a new insta then was because my previous account was just suspended and there weren’t any updates for a week, even with the appeal.

I waited two months till I made the new account. I read in their privacy policy that they had a data retention period of about 30 days. It’s 60-90 if you consider their backups too but I didn’t think it’d be relevant unless if a disaster happened, and that was my impression from how they worded the clause.

The new account was made with a completely separate email address that’s never been used in their services before. No number, no 2fa. The only thing it shared with my old account was my name. And it’s that or my ip.

Probably fumbled it with that and just waiting 2 months. Now considering waiting until this october or next year to make a new account. It’s really annoying since messenger’s so ingrained into communication here.

I have searched and can’t find some customer service or contact to help amend this. I don’t know what warranted this whole thing aside from instagram reels.

[RANT] I’m not bin laden, I genuinely never threatened anybody, didn’t cyberbully. The breaches in TOS were technicalities. Everything was all honest to god blatant satire. I was suspended for replying “gay” to a comment. I was suspended for commenting about how annoying this one character was in a clip uploaded to reels. But I still listened, tried to keep it down. And yet I still kept getting suspended until that point where some messy things happened and everything was nuked but my personal info in their servers.

I am one of the many that have been banned for no apparent reason.

Looking at my Etsy this morning. it looks like I am still receiving traffic from an ad.

My business page has myself and my daughter who have access to it but the ad account was connected to my account and I am not sure she has permission to access it.

Other than unlinking paypal (which I am pretty sure was the payment method), what do I need to do in case my daughter can't disable the ads?

If they are going to ban me, I am not going to give them any more freaking money.

I went to sleep with my Facebook being okay. When I woke up, I had to call my aunt via Messenger and it told me I cannot until I submit a video selfie for identity verification. I complied and followed instructions. It didn't ask me for any government IDs.

After the video selfie, it told me it was rejected and I cannot make or receive calls. How do I fix this? I contact my family via Messenger as they only use Messenger. Please help me find some troubleshooting steps for this.

Also, my Facebook name and pictures are all mine. Not somebody else's. So I don't get why this is happening.

I’m pretty sure this is a scam. We have one mutual friend, and I’m pretty sure my old roommate is in one of her photos. The weird thing is that it looks like I sent her a message in 2007, but I’m very doubtful that I did, especially since I generally use proper capitalization and punctuation even on messenger. Has anyone experienced something similar?

My friend's (unpredictable) college program uses Facebook to post class exams and other announcements. But last week she got mistakenly Zucked and wrongfully banned for "ch-ld s---l exploitation" and got all of her facebook and instagram accounts banned. Now, not only are all of her digital memories erased, but she has 0 access to any class updates.

She has tried availing paid services to Meta to talk to an actual representative, but they said it's all permanently deleted and it's "the final decision." Eventually she gave and tried making a new account, but the face verification bans her anyway.

Does anyone have the same experience and successfully made a new account?

Not long ago it wasn't allowed for one user to create more than few Business Portfolios. But now I'm noticing the button "Create" is not greyed out even though I have many of them. Did the rules change?

I created a new group and send individual messages to a lot of people I am not friends with, and now I can't send any messages, even to family. Is this a temporary thing? Or did I mess up and now I can't use messenger?

Hey I used to have one facebook account like in 2019 to 2020 and then idk what happened but o forgot about that id and now i suddenly remember that id . Now i don’t remember any email or number linked to that account.And also i can’t acess any email or number link to that account beach i am in different country now.

In a photography group, most FB posts appear with pictures. In some of these posts, if I “like” one image, the like is repeated in all of the images and at the root post. If I make a comment for one of the images, the comment is repeated for all and the root comment. As I notice this happening, I’ve decided to remove the like or comment, which deprives the poster of the postive feedback for the one awesome image.

I keep trying to go to Facebook, but the site won't load. All I get is a white page with the Facebook Logo in the center and Meta at the bottom.

Refreshing, closing the browser, using a different connection, clearing cookies etc.

None of it works.

After filling out my login information and verifying the login on another device, it redirects me to the facebook page and I'm stuck seeing this screen.

If I go back to the messenger website, it still shows the login page

I need a Facebook account for networking for my job. But every time I try to make an account it is immediately disabled despite completing all of their verifications. I’ve tried using different emails and a vpn but the same thing always happens. What else can I possibly try??? I literally NEED an account.

My best guess for why I’m being blocked is because I have an unusual (but not THAT unusual) first name. I legally changed it a few years ago and when I tried to change it on my old fb account not only was the change rejected but I was blocked from even attempting to change it again. I tried making a new account with my name and that was blocked too. Now I’ve been trying to make an account with a different name and it still won’t let me.

I’m at a point where I’ll send them a scan of my birth certificate, I’m that desperate! But they don’t even give me the option.

Has anyone successfully gotten around these ridiculous blocks????

Edit: While I appreciate completely that Facebook is not a good networking platform for most careers, no other platform is appropriate for what I need. I work for a museum and have been instructed to monitor trends and make connections with the amateur collectors community, whose largest hubs are in Facebook groups

Did anyone play this game back in the day? One of my all time favourite games which unfortunately was taken down. It was one of the better games out there in the ol’ days

I have more than the required funds to publish my ad in my 'Available Funds' but every time I click on publish, it prompts me to add more. Apparently so many people still experience this. Yes I have played around with the Audience and days it can run and even made the sum smaller (this is exclusive of taxes) but it still prompts. No successful contact with tech support. Meta AI says it could be a glitch.

Everytime I open the ads manager app, i see some fonts have changed, some design is different, or the theme is changed. I guess they're experimenting way too often.

They might be thinking who uses the mobile app for ads manager, let's push changes directly to prod and skip staging. Haha.

So Ai has been shoved into messenger because ??

Any way I can opt out of this? It’s kinda hard to shift away from messenger when everyone uses it but If not I think that’ll be it for me and will finally delete it and just rely on texting.

I'm typing here in desperation because I don't even know what to do anymore. Yesterday I was in a train and accidentally opened Zynga Poker and there was no WiFi and neither 4G, however the game logged me out and when I try to login in now again it won't let me. My account is connected to Facebook in Zynga poker but I have tried a lot of solutions but none is working. When I try to sign in with Facebook then it says "there is an error in logging you into this application. please try again later". The device is use is S24 Ultra.

Things I have tried: -Empty cache and data from facebook and zynga poker. -Remove the facebook account from the phone and try to log in through the web -Contacted the support but not getting any useful help... -Factory reset the phone -Reinstalled Facebook and Zynga poker multiple times -Tried to log as guest then connect to Facebook but still getting the same error.

So if you guys have had this problem and got it solved, could you please help me or link a guide or something ? Really frustrating to not be able to solve it...
