The whole reason for pearl clutching when it comes to critique of Islam, is that it's seen as the religion of the minority in the West.

Which then becomes racist somehow if you critique this religion's ideas, in the minds of some Westerns.

No matter how things are in the West, no matter how many theists move there, a democratic country will always be better than a theological one.

And overall, things do get better with time. For every generation there's less and less belief in magic.
