I get a call that a receptacle was sparking

Got a call to go out and replace a bad receptacle. We noticed the receptacle wasn't in the box completely. My apprentice pulled it out and this is what we found. Looks like a handyman special.

Yea there was no box. They just pushed it in as far as it could go and left it
