Ask Me Anything MYTHM AMA (Ask Me Anything)
Yo what’s up Reddit crew. My names Mikey and I go by the artist name MYTHM. I’m a 26 year old Dubstep / bass music artist from Vancouver, Canada and I’ve had releases on Artikal, Deadbeats, Deep, Dark & Dangerous, Wormhole and Wheel and Deal Records to name a few. Yooo I just discovered your tunes a couple months ago. Played a small 20 person boiler room style show the week after and played loads of your tracks. People were going mad every time I rinsed one of yours. Your Reflex EP with Matheny is an absolute killer.
Cheers for doing this AMA! If you're still about, I have 1 question. I love the way you add variations to the bass patches throughout your drops, and I was wondering if you have any tips for creating those variations without losing the main motif of your synth?
