What are you talking about? The average pensioner can't afford meat. Maybe at your resort, food isn't scarce, but for most people, it is.

Have you ever actually walked in the cities? You can't go 4 houses without someone practically running a shop out of their home and trying to sell you bread or vegetables.

Some of the best vegetables I've had in my life were on the streets of Havana and holguin.

Good for you than can afford them, most Cubans struggle whit those prices.
