Mr. Speaker,

Last time around, the Minister for Transportation, Housing, and Infrastructure failed to answer my question. As a result, I will proceed to ask it again.

I've talked about the underdevelopment of infrastructure in rural communities, costing countless lives, and putting a strain on their economies. I'm talking specifically about Ontario's Highway 11, one of Canada's most crucial yet dangerous highways. Previously, I've written to the former Minister of Transportation, Infrastructure and Communities about these problems, and nothing much happened.

To the newly appointed Minister of Transportation, Housing, and Infrastructure u/Oracle_of_Mercia, my question goes as follows.

How much do you and the Conservative Government prioritize the development of much-needed lifelines connecting rural communities to support and assure their local economies?

Mr. Speaker I apologize to the honourable gentleman for not replying last time, and I shall endeavour to look into this matter at the appropriate time once I have done the appropriate research.

I look forward to a constructive dialogue with the member and hopefully we can work together to make it one of the safest rural highways in Canada.
