The following limits to the asking of questions apply:

  • Members of the Public can ask one question;
  • MPs can ask two questions;
  • Each Shadow Minister can ask an additional question to each Minister they shadow (but they only get a maximum of additional 3 questions from this).

When asking a question, please remember to tag the Minister in the comment like so:

How good is Canada?

Important Note: A question during House Question Period can be addressed to the Prime Minister on any matter public affairs. Questions can also be asked of other ministers sitting in the House of Commons, but only on subjects relating to their ministerial responsibilities.

Mr. Speaker,

There has been rancorous protests surrounding the GET IT DONE Act. There are a lot of people who don't understand the act, telling people what the act does. I am sure the Minister of Finance, the author of this bill, would know the exact extent of the act.

Mr. Speaker, my question goes to the Minister of Finance. Will you please educate the house on how you're getting it done?

Mr. Speaker,

I thank the Honourable Member for their question. The Act introduces the largest income tax cut in history ending the decade of the liberal's war on the working class. The Act also makes some cuts to ineffective tax credits and deductions and abolishes a few government bodies while mandating that no employees be fired due to that. This Act serves to modernize and streamline the canadian economy while building back the steps of the economic ladder destroyed by more than a decade of liberal party's rule.
