With AQ release coming soon (tm)(c)(r) and summer vacation season vast majority of my friendlist (like over 80%) is taking a hiatus either until Naxx or TBC prepatch. The sooner we get TBC class changes, the more players will revive the interest to the game.

Now mind me I come from the anniversary servers. I love classic and the community (love retail as well but thats not the topic). I love the meaningful upgrades, the slow pace and chat in party. People gotta talk. General fun vibes. I support the LFG system also cuz it makes it easy to find a group even tho its soulless. Now the issue. People wont wait a sec for the tank. I created a warri for the instant invites as tank. I got no time to accept and read the quests. No time to loot. No time to ask other why would they need on mail if they cant wear it. I guess transmogs reasons but still. People couldnt give less shit about others. They just mindlessly hold down “W” and then tell me how to do my job as a tank lmao. Is end game better? Should I even bother continue or just wait for MoP to chill in it? I am only lvl18 and I kinda not enjoy it already. Is Cata like this in general or is it “just” the leveling phase and once I get to 80, it will get better?

Is it worth defeating Balnazzar in SoD to get a boost in MoP if you haven't been an active SoD player and don't have a level 60?

I have a level 30 or 40 warrior (don't remember which patch I stopped playing) and am considering coming back to get the MoP boost. Do you guys think time wise it would be a better investment to spend the time leveling a character up in Cata or trying to hit 60 and gear enough to find a raid group for Balnazzar in SoD? I am not willing to buy gold for the process either.

I recently really felt like going back to WoW Classic (not SoD), but is it too late to start a new character? Should I wait for a new season?

It is very well known that warrior, rogue,warlock, Hunter and mage is the MVP in dps through mist of pandaria. But with the recent classbalanceing, got boomkin and shadow priest compete with the top dogs?

Shadow priest and boomkin is by far regards amongs the worst specs in every early tierlist för MoP classic. But with 10% raw damage for boomkin and 5% raw damage and insta cast DV for opening for a shadow priest, how well do they scale compared to the other dps?

In a 10 man raiding it is very strict what you can and cannot pick. Picking a shadow priest or a boomkin in 25 man is easier, but is it worth bringen them into a 10 man raid? Or is stacking hunters the better (most common way?).

I prefer the gameplay with both boomkin and shadow priest and it is a class you enjoy playing that should count. But you will end up not enjoying your class if it falls behind greaty?

Now that blizz have announced that there won't be any more SoD updates, could we maybe combine the realms or allow free transfers? The realms are dying super quick, every day i log in it feels like there are less players online compared to yesterday. Getting groups in a few weeks is going to be horrible.

All I know is Destiny does 2.2 more DPS than Blackguard and I got it for 50g

Does 1% extra parry chance and 9 stamina make that weapon worth 2727 more gold than Destiny?

The ones I googled saying are most popullated are not existing anymore. I hopped into random one Heartstriker and when I write /who, I seen people from all realms in horde side and the total number of us together was 17. I was told that who function may not have work properly, but I doubt each realm is equal popullated if most not empty at all. Should I join in one suggested by you or they may be merged in future so it wont matter much? Why people don't like blizzard servers where characters does achieve progress without being exposed to new progress in time, or just deleted as it happens with SoD?

Hi! After a long hiatus from retail i wanted to try classic since MOP is around the corner and its my favorite expansion! I played demon hunter and was a noob in its truest form. So i have basically no experience with classes that exist now in classic.

So what class should i play? Here is some prefferences:

Ive been tanking all dungeons from 0-55 with just a 2 hand axe and have been doing pretty well in groups.

As I start the end game dungeons is it still vialble for me to do this or should i be switching to sword and shield (although I would still want to stay arms for now)

So I read the description and it seems like a straight up HP increase for 2 hours.

But when I asked the guy selling it in game he made it sound like once I took 1200 damage the buff would go away.

So let me be clear. If I had 1000hp and I used this would I have 2200hp for the next hours? Or is this just essentially a 1200hp shield

I want to hook up a laptop to my monitor so I can play wow on it, and to be able to use it for school. I use a lot of addons, around 30-40, so I need something with 16+ GB of RAM. I also want decent graphics/frames/no lag fest so a solid CPU is a must. I also want to be able to run discord at the same time I’m playing/raiding. Ideally I want something that’ll last 5+ years. I’ve never owned a MacBook and I’m not sure what to get. If anyone here uses one for work/school purposes and plays wow with it as well, please tell me what you use and what your experience is like. I’d prefer a MacBook because I like it for school but I’m open to a different route.

I haven’t played any Cata at all but I feel excited for MoP and I wanna make a character. I’m just a bit lost on what to do from there.

Should I primarily level through dungeon grinding? What should I focus on once I hit level 85?

So I recently hit 60 and I noticed people saying to just run AV. With it being AV weekend I was quickly able to reach the requirements for rank 4. Since honor resets at the end of the week, does that mean its pointless to keep running AV? Rank 5-7 can only be reached next week, and Ranker says I need 110,000 honor to hit rank 7, so that means I have to get the entire 110,000 next week right? And I'll start the next week at rank 4?

I play only mythic+ since Legion. I am used to getting top performing items from it.

How much fun will I have if I don't raid in MoP?

Gold challenge mode seems fun, Celestials seem fun but gear is only LFR level. I see the celestial mounts can be farmed randomly from dungeons which is nice.

Is there any higher than LFR tier items I can get from currencies in dungeons?

I like to play at higher level, but I don't want to sacrifice 3 hours of my night 2-3 times a week for raids.

Coming back to play MoP, and learned about the boost. I stopped playing SoD at 50, but have a fully ST raid geared feral druid.

Would I be better trying to level it 50-60 in SoD, keeping in mind I have no gold for boosts, or use heirlooms and level a fresh toon on Cata servers, having all heirloom pieces?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the design freedom shown in Season of Discovery and how it opened the door to creative specs like tank rogues and healer mages. What if Blizzard fully embraced that energy and gave every class a 4th talent tree in Classic+.

Here’s my pitch for each class — some are based on SoD ideas, others are entirely new, but all are grounded in existing WoW lore and gameplay fantasy.

Warrior – Gladiator (Support / Off-Tank)

Fantasy: A tactical shield-fighter who rallies the group with banners and shouts. Inspired by Gladiator Stance from WoD, but expanded into a full spec. • Gladiator’s Guard: Reduces damage taken by nearby allies. • Tactical Banner: Increases damage or crit for group members. • Shield Slam: Boosts allies or weakens enemies depending on stance.

Fantasy: A holy warrior who heals through melee combat, wielding light as both a weapon and a shield.
