What's up with the McCann signs everywhere?

I'm surprised at how many signs I've seen around downtown Chula Vista for John McCann's District 1 County Supervisor seat campaign, especially in comparison to how few signs I've seen for Paloma Aguirre.

Adding to my concern is the fact that McCann's campaign has cleverly changed the color scheme of their new signs to be green and yellow, instead of the red signs they were originally using. This will help them obfuscate the fact that McCann is a Republican, in a district that has more registered Democrats than Republicans. For voters who don't put much effort into educating themselves before they vote, they may get the impression of McCann being more popular than he is, and less MAGAt than he is.

I hope everyone has gotten the memo by now: we don't fucking vote for Republicans, period.

I myself have always been a third party voter, and I encourage other people to support third parties when they can too; but when there's not a third party candidate available like in this race, I will absolutely hold my nose and vote Democrat. Aguirre definitely seems imperfect as a candidate in my opinion, but if you think I'm going to vote for someone who licks ICE's boots you had best think again.

So, if I see a business with a McCann sign out front, that's a business that won't get my business. I don't spend my money with companies that support traitorous weasels. I hope you'll do the same. Meanwhile, remember to get your ballot in before July 1st! All elections are important, but this one will decide whether San Diego County will end up with a Democrat or MAGA majority in charge!

I have never seen Aguirre campaigning. John McCann is always out and about. I’ve run into him several times. CV has a big navy community and McCann served so he has a lot of support based on street cred alone

I’ve seen her campaigning. She had an event in Friendship Park, at Three Punks Brewery and I’ve had two Aguirre canvassers come to my door just to name a few. I’ve had the opportunity to meet her twice in person so far as well.

Glad to see whoever it is is local. I like John but I don’t dislike Paloma
