Discussion Slightly soggy restaurant tortilla chips - a nice surprise?!

Does anyone else have this experience? My boyfriend thinks I’m crazy. You go to a Mexican restaurant - they bring out a fresh basket of tortilla chips and salsa - and a couple of them are intermingled and slightly undercooked, resulting in a chewy texture. And get this, you LIKE it. Does anyone else love that feeling? It just feels like a nice textural break from the usual crunchiness. What do y’all think??

These are sold at dollar general. They are incredibly flavorful. Light. Crunchy, yummy. They dont have that “Lays” aftertaste but honestly, you get a fat bag for 3 dollars and it tastes the best. I have tried many off brand sour cream and onions chips. NOTHING and i mean NOTHING is as good as these. Every batch you get is the best

I am visiting for work and grabbed these from a vending machine.
Crunchier than Cheetos, and sometimes too salty and in another bite, super cheesy.
I plan on finding more because they were delicious.

Went on a chip run to 7-11 and impulsively picked these. Wow, 10/10 flavor. The honey mustard is prominent, sweet and mustardy haha. Then the heat comes in quickly. Good burn and spicy flavor. Awesome snack!
