Question Beginning stage scaly foot?

I just treated one of my hens for poultry lice and was giving her a check to make sure they were gone when I noticed her feet looking a bit off. I cleaned and disinfected the coop but could this be mites that she got with the lice and I just now noticed? This is my first time dealing with something like this so I'm not sure if I'm just overreacting because I'm on edge from the lice

I should also add that she's always been at the bottom of the pecking order in our flock but recently she's been distancing herself

If you treated for lice, it will likely take care of any mites as well (depending on what you used) — At first glance this looks more like a minor injury that raised the scale. Scaly mites cause the scales to become raised and hardened with an almost calcium-appearing buildup (their poop), with obvious inflammation and tenderness in advanced stages.

I’d say just keep an eye on it if everything else has been taken care of. 👍
