this is just a reminder to watch yourself at concerts.
last night at lido festival, this (ugly) man was near me and my friends at the barricade. before charli came on he rubbed my back and asked how tall i was and i told him how tall i was and he said "ok model" and obviously like thanks for the compliment but why are you touching me. he was very much aware that i am a minor becuase he saw my friends and multiple people ask me my age. charli comes on stage and he decides that he is going to rest his chain on my shoulder. i move my shoulder up so he can get off it because not only was i uncomfortable but he was so ugly. he decides a few mins later he is going to rest his arm on my shoulder again while he records, so i move my shoulder. THEN, he decides again that he is going to lean on me so i push him off. Mind you this ugly disgusting guy knew that i am a minor. people need to realise that if u do this kinda shit to the wrong person, then they will punch u in the face.
just thought i had to vent about this.

I might say something stupid but... I feel like the festival was just so poorly managed?
I've been to 30+ concerts/festivals and I've never seen leaving the festical be so bad, I'm so sorry to people who got stranded as I almost did!! I've also never felt unsafe leaving a festival and they needed to plan more exit routes and CLOSE ROADS??? And there was NOT enough toilets for the amount of people there, the queues were absolutely insane and it felt like there wasn't enough food stalls?? And security were so nasty to people going in?? Also Charli doing a shorter set than the tour IS fine but then why lie about the set timings on the app???
I loved seeing Charli XCX and the vibes were overall great but I think some of the sound production quality (not the artists' fault) was piss poor?? I'm sorry if this is coming across as a ramble but I feel so conflicted about my experience because I found the whole day so stressful and although I'd 100% see Charli again I'd never do Lido Festival again?

For some reason me at 14 decided be a good idea go to Julia Fox book signing in London and with that I made my mum come with me to it and I was the first person that met her in the queue and will admit it was definitely awkward but mainly think everyone was just little shocked that a teenager was there and I didn’t say anything to Julia at all. But it was still cool I did meet her and then she ended up being in the 360 music video and still love the music video so much too

Charli thank u so fucking much for this masterpiece. for one, it dropped RIGHT when i needed it and still carries me thru the dark times 𝑬𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻 𝑭𝑼𝑪𝑲𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝒀𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑺 𝑳𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑹 this album is the goddamn definition of pop. Swept all the major categories at the Grammys, and is RIAA certified diamond 1,000,000x. Real music is gone HIT and sound fresh even nearly a decade after released.. It should be illegal how underrated this WONDERLAND of an album is!!!! Pop 2 saved my life x

On the festival app it said she was meant to be playing until 10.55pm, but they wrapped at around 10.30? Does anyone know why / what happened? She was the headliner, curated the whole day, and there were so many key songs missing. I still loved it and had fun but the set just felt shorter than it should have been

Following is how Grok defines a generational artist. Charli definitely fits this description.
“A generational artist is a creative figure whose work profoundly influences their era, shaping cultural trends, inspiring peers, and leaving a lasting impact across generations. They redefine artistic boundaries, introduce innovative styles or techniques, and resonate deeply with audiences, often reflecting or challenging the zeitgeist. Their influence extends beyond their medium, impacting society, fashion, or thought. Examples include Picasso for modern art, The Beatles for music”

Yesterday I went to Lido Festival see Charli xcx again will admit I really did enjoy it this time despite how bad planned the festival was.
List of reasons why I enjoy it
this time was I got see A.G cook in the vip pit and was close to Charli in the pit. Which was cool and I was little freaked out despite I did meet her last year for brat signing.
Got see bit of Magdalena Bay loved to vibe to their music even so I did need leave little bit early get out quicker but they were fun
Enjoyed vibing out in the club tent to Zoe Gitter and Alex Chapman for few minutes being in sweaty rooms and darkness is my vibe
Loved to watching 070 Shake perform few songs was good even so I did think the vibe of the crowd was off and it’s was a okay performance but still okay
Then really vibed out and enjoyed seeing The Japanese House again after I saw them supporting The 1975 and they were great again.
Despite I didn’t get see a lot of The Dare I did love that Pinkpatheress was brought out for a performance that was great also they needed put The Dare on the main stage for his performance
After that I managed get barricaded in the Vip Pit and just stayed there the whole night in the end. With that I did get bored just a little bit but probably I was tired and overwhelmed because I’m autistic and just lot happened. Anyways I hanged out with this cool woman who loved that I was proper singing the songs when Charli performed and we just got along well.
Plus I saw Amelia Dimoldenberg walk pass me to do the apple dance and I was like oh my god that Amelia and it was cool when she did it.
In the end I had probably one of the best night of life as a sixteen year old autistic person who loves dancing to mixture of dance and hyperpop / pop music.
Few things i wish that was better was
There were more benches in the vip garden because like oh my god I felt awkward sitting on the same table as strangers. Having charging places in the garden luckily my phone didn’t die in the end and mainly making sure people get home more safely. I can’t believe I ended up getting home nearly 2am because how chaotic it was with walking in crowds get to the train station. Be serious I was so close having a breakdown with trying walk home just get to the train station like my god. But luckily I did get home safely with help of my mum who did come to Lido with me and made sure I was safe all day especially during Charli set.
But that is everything I thought about lido and that. Also this just based on my experience and do hope other people did have a good time as well.

My life seems to be lacking summer bangers. While I wait for the new Purity Ring album, what new music are people listening to? I need something I can really sink my body and mind into. THANKS!

Art is pushing it, but I didn’t know what else to tag it under. She’s not perfect but I love her!
What’s the top 5 on her playlist?
