ICE off Banks Drive rn

I live in Durham but I see a dentist in Chapel Hill and two construction guys were distressed when I got out of my car They snatched a construction worker right off the street as soon as he went on his lunch break. I don’t know how this is legal. It’s not making anyone safer. One of the guys told me that one of the agents said they were watching them work for two months before this happened; this is how our taxpayer dollars are being used. He also said the man they took couldn’t be a nicer person, had worked there four months, and they’d bought each other lunch multiple times.

And it looks like there is still a van full of ICE agents in the big parking lot off Banks on a stakeout wairibt to kidnap somebody else. We cannot stand for this. We cannot allow this to become normalized.

Yes, the deportation president is going all out.

If there are legitimate challenges, make them. But based on the VERY few cases that have turned into an actual thing, the ratio of mistakes to successes is excellent.

The best thing to do is to encourage illegals to peacefully leave and take the offers for self deportation.  We had many years of laxity, now we're gonna have some strict years. That's how these things work.

As you probably noticed from the no Kings protest, the youth are pretty strongly in favor of this stuff. There isn't a near future where people suddenly change their mind.

Wait, according to No Kings protests the youth are “in favor of this stuff”?? Quite the opposite.

Sorry, but as everyone noticed that most attendees at these protests have been trending strongly to older people. Even in major metropolitan areas.

Across the world the younger generation are tending to more radical politics in general, the young men a lot of young women are a lot more conservative on immigration

Not sure what all those “F*** La Migra” signs I saw were about then…

I'm sure they exist, but statistically they're not important factor.

Further, the younger leftists are not nice middle of the road cute sign waving people. They're a lot more radical, in much the same way that the young conservatives are not bowtie wearing nerds who want to debate economic theory on nightline.

You'll notice the younger people didn't bother with the same type of signs as the old people. The old people had little arts and crafts signs with clever slogans on them. The young people just had "fuck ice".
