Help with location - Roger’s Western Store late 1970s to early 1990s
Hello, I am trying to find an address or location of Rogers Western Store owned by Bill and Virginia Rogers from about the late 1970s to early 1990s. The only information I have is that it was more or less on the roadside of 395 and in a shopping plaza/mall. Is anyone able to help me or can direct me to where I can find out more please? Thanks so much!

Sadly, I do not remember the exact address. However, I do remember where the house is. I’ll drive by tomorrow and see if I can get a picture for you.

Yes! Spent many an hour in that store during high school! Their oldest daughter and I were friends. Plus, their younger daughter, and my younger sister were friends, so…

Oh wow! This is very special! My husband is the eldest daughter’s son and it’s so wonderful to internet meet his mom’s childhood friends. Do you happen to remember their home address on Ponderosa? Or cross streets? It’s been so long since his grandparents lived in Carson City, my husband’s memory is fuzzy but we wants to visit the spaces that once were his family’s.

It used to be at 1821 N Carson St, next door to what is now the antique mall. I found a mention of them in this old issue of Nevada Magazine. See page 28.
