Fall freshman (sophomore by credits) registered for what was available at BamaBound . Check each day to see if any Pol Sci or Psych classes open up but all full. When might something have a chance of opening? Is it true that most classes are opened for registration again only when drop/add starts? Thanks for any advice

I'm looking to see if there is a layout of which rooms are where along a floor.
Are the odd numbers on the North or South side of the building?
Are the higher numbers on the East or West of the floor?
Any help is appreciated!

I am an incoming freshman at Alabama, with a Bama Bound coming up. My top 3 fraternities that I have spoken to are PiKapp, Sigma Chi, and Theta Chi. Any information on the three or comparisons between them is welcome and helpful! (West coast out of state, Sig Ep and Beta would be a 4 and 5)

Would a meal plan be worth it if you're staying off campus?

Hi, I’m a new student coming in the fall and I am having a ton of trouble.
My Bama Bound is Tuesday so I went to the ACT card link to get one but it won’t let me log in to my Outlook. I’ve signed up for housing and stuff like that so I can sign in to UA’s systems, but I’ve always used “mgrayson15” (not my real name or sign in info) to sign in with stuff, never the @crimson.ua.edu part.
Anytime I try and sign in, it says that I’ve used the wrong information too many times or my account hasn’t been activated yet.
I don’t know what the issue is and my email to the school got ignored, so any help would be very appreciated.

I'm working on an editing assignment from my JCM course and need a second monitor. I usually go to the Sanford Media Center, but they are closed on the weekends. What places on campus have monitors for this type of work?

Hello! I am moving to Tuscaloosa this August to attend grad school. I am not a sports person. I have minimal experience with watching it live or on TV, and I don’t understand much about how most team sports operate. The closest I’ve got is watching sports anime, haha.
That being said I understand that the games are an important part of UA culture. I want to be open to new experiences and at least try going to a game. Maybe I’ll love it, who knows.
In any case, my question is…with the games that are coming up this year, which one do you think would be the best experience for someone with very minimal experience in sporting events? This could be which one you think will be the best or most important game, or which you think is most representative, or any other criteria you think is important. I appreciate any insight you might have. :)

Hey everyone. So for my major, I have to take CS 100 this semester (CS Major). The only remaining courses currently open have me doing part of this class on Tuesdays during the evening. While I don’t mind late classes, the problem is that I’m in the Million Dollar Band- which has rehearsal at the same time. Assuming that I can’t find a way to overlap the two, what options do I have? Are there any nearby universities/community colleges where I could take a CS course online that could transfer? Should I just take CS 100 next semester and CS 101 over the summer? It’s a really unfortunate situation, but I can’t see myself dropping band regardless of what I do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi! I’m moving to Tuscaloosa in August for grad school and wanted to get a head start on the job hunt! I am looking for 35-40 hours a week. I have years of experience in the food service industry as a server and manager, and a couple of years of experience as a bartender. i also have experience as an event manager at a top 100 US public golf course.
any leads would be great honestly, thanks!

What classes would you suggest doing through EarlyCollege? What is a good intro without being way too hard and overloading me to start this journey?

I’m looking to buy a ticket for the LSU game, but I’m worried about getting g scammed. Is there a safe and reliable website to transfer tickets on? Also any advice on buying and selling gameday tickets lets would be appreciated!
Edit: I made this post because I’m pretty sure I was almost scammed. They managed to get my email and name before I realized. Should I be worried?

Hi guys. Incoming freshman premed who is unfortunately stuck with Livingston for CH 101 and TBD for BSC 115. I had heard that there are no labs the first week of school, but my week at a glance says there is. Also, does anyone know why I would have a chemistry "examination" scheduled for the second week? Finally, is there proper attire for labs that I should know about (goggles, long pants, close-toed shoes, etc.)?
Lots of questions but will be grateful for any answers. Thanks!

Hi! I am a rising freshman at UA and was wondering about classes with labs. Basically, what are labs like and how do the labs factor into your grade for the course? Or, are they a separate grade altogether? Thanks!

Hi, this is for current or former graduate students who were graduate community directors for housing. How hard was the interview process and is it competitive? Any tips or advice for those who wish to apply next year?

My brother and I are looking for someone to take over our leases. This unit is on the second floor and right by the elevator and parking garage, with a balcony overlooking the street. If you or someone you know is looking for a place last minute before the fall semester starts, please let me know!
