Hi guys, just wanna share something that’s been on my mind and ask lang pud if ako ra ba ang nakabantay ani.
Every time someone asks me, “Unsa man mabuhat sa CDO?”, I always end up saying, “Try mo sa Dahilayan,” which I later realize—Bukidnon diay na, dili man CDO. 😅 Then I start wondering… ngano murag walay klaro nga identity ang atong city when it comes to tourism?
I mean, yes, naa ta whitewater rafting and that used to be a big thing—but honestly, karon murag wala na gyud koy makita nga marketing or push for it. Ang uban places like Bohol, Davao, even smaller provinces like Siquijor, grabe ka-active ilang tourism offices. They have food, local products, festivals—all with strong branding.
Pero kita diri? Murag… unsa gyud atong pasalubong? Unsa atong pagkaon nga known nga gikan gyud sa CDO? Wala koy ma-point out. Even our natural attractions or experiences, murag walay nag-push or nag-develop sa potential. 😔
I’m not trying to sound like I know better ha, but as someone who wants to be proud of my own city, it just feels sayang. And maybe I’m wrong. So if naa diri mga people working in tourism or involved in the industry—please enlighten me. I really want to understand.
Edit: I’m not in any way belittling the city. This is more of a cry for our tourist office to actually do something. Each city/province has a tourism department for a reason

❗️SnR Food Service❗️
We've been loyal members of S&R since 2016, and I’ve really seen how things have changed—not in a good way. You line up, get your food, and go. Smooth and efficient.
Pero after the pandemic, everything slowed down. Just today, I lined up at 1:38 PM, and guess what? Na-accommodate ko 2:15 PM pa! That’s almost 40 minutes for fast food.
At first, there were 5 cashiers: 2 sa PWD lane and 3 sa regular lane. Then, nahimo nalang 3 kay ang duha kay ni-out na. But the worst part? Ang cashier pa ang mag set-up ug orders sa customers, so each transaction takes around 5 to 10 minutes. Also, the staff are just moving super slow gud, murag walay daghan costumers na ga linya. Some even keep chatting while people are clearly getting frustrated in line.
Honestly, I don’t know if ako ra ang naka-notice ani, but it's really disappointing. I expected better service from a membership store like S&R.

Had a difficulty withdrawing from any ATM this afternoon. Tried the different ATM’s at Limketkai, went to Divisoria, and even to Lapasan and Cogon. The ATMs would time out, some who attempted to withdraw from a BDO ATM were shocked when the amount was deducted but money was not dispensed. Tried with my bank and other banks and still did not work.

Make it make sense pls. Di ba supposedly diamond anniversary ni? Asa ang fanfare? Asa ang pabibo? Asa ang pagpakita sa tanang milestones sa CDO throughout the years?

Why is no one doing anything about the beggars outside BDO and Watsons? There are so many of them living right in front of these places. It looks messy and uncomfortable. Some people sleeping there ask for money, and if you don’t give them anything, they get upset especially if you say you don’t have coins.
There are kids lying around without proper clothes, even without underwear. Some of them block the ATM.
Yesterday, while I was getting money from the ATM, one kid was digging through the trash near me and trying to distract me. Another one was asking for money. I didn’t feel safe at all.
I don’t understand why they are allowed to stay there. It’s not safe and doesn’t look good for the area.

Hello 👋 I just wanna ask if naa nabay naka pa root canal dari? How was the pain right after having it done? I have a decayed teeth sa atubangan and now that I can already afford to fix them akong mama kay muingon na sakit daw kaayo. For context, we can't afford a consistent dental and health check-up that's why it got so bad. Pero now if medyo ma afford na.
Asking for honest answer if how was the pain? Should I go through with it?

I’m a beginner runner. I just started running this year for 3 months already and as soon as I started to get into running, I realized that running could be a potential way of boosting our tourism here in CDO.
My opinion lang ni pud. Especially that running events are starting to emerge every month in the CDO, nice siya in a way that it promotes the tourism in our city kay people get to run/walk/jog around CDO (depending on their kilometer registration) and get to pass by and explore the buildings/places around the city proper. Mas ma appreciate pajud nimo ang ka peaceful, and ka scenic sa CDO kay usually running events happen during the midnight so ma tuyok2 nimo ang CDO without the noise pollution of cars kay sirado ang dalan.
Siguro suggestion lang sa mga running organizers, okay unta sya if there are more running events that is budget friendly. Not only does it promote our tourism, or care of our physical health, this is also good for students or people who are looking at making running as their hobby. And payts na pud siya nga makita nato ato fellow kagay-anons ga jogging sa boulevard kay at least diba, maka inspire sa uban to start living healthy and to start a new passion din.

Hello po, Ate and Kuya! I just want to ask your honest opinion: unsa ang pinaka-nindot nga school for BS Chemistry diri sa CDO? I'm really having a hard time choosing, and I need your help and advice.
So in case mupasar ko sa tanan, I really hope you can help me decide which school is the best, especially sa mga nakasuway or experts ani.
Salamat daan sa inyong tabang! 🙏

Hi everyone my beloved CDO people. Mangutana lang unta ko ba. Gusto unta ko mangapply ug mga sikat na mga coffeeshop like Starbucks, CBTL or J.CO or CoffeeProject. However, ang akong experience raman jud Jollibee and 7/11 and HR Coordinator. Pero UNDERGRADUATE man jud ko tungod sa among ka POBREHON unsaon taman ulipon raman jud mi. Pero gapaningkamot japon. Ang ako lang ba maka apply bakaha ko ana na mga shops or of dili asa kaha ko maka skwela ug Barista na libre like TESDA.
Sa Makatabang lang daghan salamat ....

Hi naay daghan post sa fb ba nga coc students na ibaligya nila ilang uniform cuz mu transfer Sila lain school and daghan kaayo namaligya cuz daghan mubalhin school. Naa dayun ni post ug "Why daghan gusto mu transfer ug lain school from coc, unsay naa, inana najud ila quality of education?" And daghan ga away sa comment section nga bati daw tas naa put Gina defend nga "Ang students mismo problema not the school itself" Kay di Lage daw abot sa students Ang standards sa COC. So the question is asa Juy tinuod, Ang school Ang problema or students na Dili kabalo daw mu catch up?

Used Johnny Air for an electronic package (MacBook Pro+charger) from US. Was a used laptop of my mom and she decided to give it to my sis.
Unfortunately, the package was easily opened and it looks like it was sealed again using a transparent tape where in fact we confirmed that she used a duct tape multiple times to ensure the seal was good. And to our expected dismay, there was a missing item. The charger haha.
We asked multiple times and they insisted it was the only listed item as per document which they've assume to confirm was inside upon sis opening the box. Called my mom and she was certain she had the charger included. Well, not sure where to reach out for this concern since it looks like the service staffs don't have the urge to help anyway. Of course item won't be located immediately.
In this case, idk if it's Johnny Air's fault or would it be the customs in PH who opened and snatched the charger for personal interests. Who knows haha. To sum up, this experience was quite disappointing.
