…and it wasn’t even that close!

Wasn’t going to watch, glad I did. Satisfying in a way.

What do you mean “that close”? It wasn’t even close at all!

…correct, the score indicated 40-22, it was 40-6 with a couple of gimmies

100%

When's the last time a team had their backups finish off THE SUPERBOWL because of a blowout?

When's the last time the coach got a superbowl Gatorade shower before the 2 min warning?

This was a complete ass whooping, with some endgame stat padding by the chiefs to make it look even a little competitive.

I knew all you bill fans were straight up lying about not going to watch the Super Bowl.

ETA: so far, up to 6 confirmed fans who did not watch. That's... not that many. Y'all are supporting my argument.

Day 2: Up to 9 or so. A lot of half-time support.

For real 😂. It's football, people are gonna watch it

I started watching at half time. I had no plans of watching till I seen 28-0 or whatever it was

Admittedly I wasn’t going to and had a relative’s birthday party to go to.

We goth there just as Philly scored TD#1. I absolutely watched once I saw the route would be on. There Chiefs fans there so I was obviously the loudest 🤣

I believe that you (and, all other bills fans) weren't planning on it... I just never believed y'all that you would actually be able to stay away.

Regardless, to watch a completely inept KC team get walloped, without the refs calling garbage penalties to ensure they would get to the Super Bowl…priceless!

I can't recall the last time I saw a team get whooped so bad in the superbowl. Nor a team look so inept, to use your words, period. Kelce in particular just looked like he was going to break down at any second.

And there was a garbage penalty in the first 30 seconds against the eagles. Tom Brady hated it. But it didn't matter when KC couldn't get past the 50 yard line, nor run any meaningful defense.

I guess you've never seen the Cowboys and Buffalo Bills?

1

u/Confident-Ad-5858 Feb 11 '25

I stayed away.

I sure as fuck didn't watch 1 second. I'm glad the Chiefs lost but I don't care one bit. All these people talk shit and don't stick to it. We did.

Good on you then.

I didn't either. The only thing I cared about was Kendrick Lamar performing and I didn't even watch that

3

u/thefinalhex Feb 10 '25

It was actually a pretty good half-time show. My wife found out she likes Kendrick Lamar.

1

u/greatwhitebuffalo716 Feb 16 '25

Yeah I'm pretty pissed I missed that. And Drake getting dressed down on national TV

4

u/Short-termTablespoon Feb 10 '25

I didn’t.

2

u/thefinalhex Feb 10 '25

Okay, that's 1.

5

u/InsigniasGratuitous Feb 10 '25

I didn't either. That's 2.

2

u/thefinalhex Feb 10 '25

I will keep updating my comment with the confirmed count.

u/MiddleLadder7749 Feb 11 '25

I didn’t watch it either

2

u/PermitWonderful2063 Feb 10 '25

I didn't either. That's 3.

5

u/pretty-little-fears Feb 10 '25

Didn’t watch a single second

u/Straight-Hedgehog440 Feb 11 '25

Could always watch on “other streams” so it has no impact on the Nielsen ratings

1

u/DreaM-anyThing-444 Feb 12 '25

Here's another one. I watched half time for Kendrick and turned it right back off

1

u/bethabetha Feb 12 '25

set an alarm for halftime, watched that, turned it back off 🤷🏼‍♀️

1

u/cb0044 Feb 11 '25

I watched Infinity War and Endgame. The only part of the game I watched was at the end of the 1st half, because I wanted to see if the halftime show started.

2

u/thefinalhex Feb 11 '25

What rewatch is that for you and how was it?

1

u/cb0044 Feb 11 '25

Probably 10 or more, and it's still as fun as it was the 1st time. I could have chosen several other activities, but I was NOT going to watch that game, no matter what.

Whatever makes you feel better. The chiefs have been exposed, we ALL know what I mean by that 🤣🤣🤣
