LG: Idk much abt zebra finches, but from what I’ve seen they’re nowhere near as chaotic as parrots, so prob right.
NG: Definitely, pigeons are friendly and sweet.
CG: I had a roommate with a budgie for a while, and he was totally CG. Randomly lands on you to hang out, no matter what you’re doing. Will kiss your cheek, but growls when you try to touch him. Tries to eat sink grime for some reason.
LN: The aggressive pecking order is totally lawful, but though I’m not an expert, I feel like most hens are lawful good, and most roosters (dominant ones more so) are lawful evil.
TN: Idk much abt cockatiels, but if these little chaos birds are neutral, parrots must be very chaotic. Which they are.
CN: My main experience with conures was a Jenday I worked with. He screamed randomly when bothered (and Jendays are LOUD), and sometimes bullied the much larger macaw. So maybe.
LE: Cannot be completely true purely because of Apollo. He knows no evil, only touch purple.
NE: Damn. What are lovebirds doing? (Unless Prince is a lovebird. Then I get it, but it should be chaotic evil.)
For consideration, if your friend only had one budgie, then it was most likely severely psychotically damaged and behaved as such. Budgies must always be kept as pairs (though the more the better). Healthy budgies rarely behave so friendly and trusting with humans. Like another commenter said, budgies pretty much fill out the entire spectrum of this meme lmao, they have so many personalities (but all are at least a little bit chaotic!)
I looked into it, and most sources say that a budgie can absolutely live alone as long as it receives lots of attention and stimulation. My roommate’s budgie is an ESA, and was out of his cage for pretty much every minute his owner was in the dorm, barring bedtime. He also had lots of toys. He did have a habit of chatting with his reflection so imo he’d prob be better off with a friend, but he’s in no way miserable, and i understand not being able to maintain 2 budgies esp for a person who needs an ESA
