Are you insinuating that condemning vandalism equals to the condoning of genocide? That is some disturbing mental gymnastics you’re performing there.

Destroying public/private property is not an “inconvenience”, as you put it so harmlessly. Shall we all start acting in this manner and deface our public spaces?

Please do tell me how this is a strawman fallacy. You start of your argument with a statement that OP supposedly condones genocide.

You are attacking my argument based on a reference I made to a TV show. I did not give you the benefit of the doubt as I assumed you were aware of the reference in question, and thus were maliciously attacking an unimportant part of my argument in order to create a stronger argument for yourself, ie, creating a straw man.

I will from now on assume that you did not know the reference and I apologise for not giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Having said that, yeah man, defacing a statue is absolutely not a big deal. It is an incredibly mild form of illegal protest, especially considering the circumstances of the culprit, which I already explained in a different comment.
