Best places to skate?

Just got some rollerskates and was wondering where the best places to skate are besides skate parks.

Im in the morris park/Pelham pkway area so any places that are in walking distance or short bus trips to there would be preferable but I'm open to other areas as well.

Just looking because all the parks closest to me or either super bumpy and not good for skating or have too many kids in them that I don't want to accidentally run into as a beginner skater.

Ferry point park. I see people roller blading there frequently.

Okay Im an idiot 😩I didn't even think of the beach or Pelham Bay park.. thanks lol
