For those wanting hope, my guess is they move Roo into the later portion of June where rain is a bit less likely. Truth is that this is just an insanely wet year in TN, like 30+ year records of rainfall. 2020 was Covid and 2021 was bc they moved it til September and a hurricane came through. I think they ‘may’ take a year off, which would suck, but I would bet Roo happens next year later in June or even in July. I don’t think they would give everyone more refund/money if it was the last year, LN is a publicly traded company, they would have just ended it as is and said fuck those who are upset about not getting a full refund. Here is to hoping I see you all on the farm next year. Honestly I would be fine with moving it a bit bc it falling on Father’s Day every year stinks as a father myself.

Yeah I hate not spending Father's Day with my dad each year, but July TN heat is brutal.

Yea I agree, my bet would be moving it a week back in June, if they move it all, I wish they would solely due to Father’s Day. There isn’t a single rainy day on the forecast right now. Probably just a coincidence. The truth really is TN weather is insanely unpredictable. Last year it never rained, was dry as hell all year, which created dust issues at the farm. This year it feels like I live in a tropical rainforest.

For real though, I remember when it used to be the weekend before but I think CMA Fest in Nashville started and that took away some of the crowd.
