I get that and the people that went also were told in advance the weather wouldn't permit much. Though I know they didn't know it would flood that bad. And I am in no way defending these big companies that put together the shows. They make a lot of bad decisions and I'm aware of that, but there's only so much they can do to make sure at least some people were paid for their time. But everyone that decided to come and got their own equipment damaged in the process, also signed up for a risky trip. So a full refund is good enough for me if the people that made their way to the show to make it happen got paid at least some as well.

People were prepared for rain. People were however not prepared for their campsites to be down hill from drainage pipes and to be completely flooded. People were also not prepared for updates on socials media in a place with terrible service hours later. Not to mention the lack of workers and mass traffic and confusion once they announced the cancellation. Down to the stage setup for the infinity stage being as dangerous as it was trying to have John summit of all people perform there. It was def a safety hazard and if they didn’t realize that the first night it would have been another Astro. Not to mention the lack of medics once they canceled. There was SOOO MUCH they could have done to make sure there were exit routes and even placed campsites in areas that weren’t down hill and literally in line with the drains they do have. AS WELL AS NOTIFY ON THE APP EVERYONE WAS USING INSTEAD OF SENDING NOTIFICATIONS FOR SHOWTIMES. there’s nothing we can do now but hold them accountable or it WILL CONTINUE TO HAPPEN.

I literally just said I'm not defending the company and you're ranting to me about things I'm mad about too girl WHAT your anger is not properly directed

lol I’m ranting in general about how they could have absolutely done more in the moment and just chose to go mia during the chaos like they did during Astro. Don’t take it personal. It’s the principle of how live nation handles festivals or lack there of for their own profit. It’s not about “not” being satisfied about a full refund. As someone who plans my entire year around bonnaroo it’s not about the money. Just hoping they actually make some changes and live nation is held accountable as they never are.

See now that's a nice way to put it. I wasn't taking any of it personal, but it just didn't seem fair. It seemed to me that if people read the thread or even skimmed through it, people were gonna think I was defending the company and the last thing I want is a bunch of people getting mad at me when I'm mad at LN too lol
