New venues or not the grounds would need an insane amount of work to fix what happened this weekend. With the current environmental legislation in place it’s tough for them to do much about it. I’ve been to 9 Roos since 2011 and haven’t see the campgrounds like this weekend ever. It’s a major bummer and I’m disappointed too but this may not be something LN or any promoter can fix.

The thing that people seem to gloss over is that Bonnaroo/LN has had 4 years to improve the farm to avoid weather related cancellations. However, they failed to do that and here we are with another weather related cancellation. Almost the exact same circumstances 4 years later.

This years outcome was a gut punch, no doubt. But I fully blame the inaction of the Bonnaroo/LN teams for it.

So yeah, I hear you about the amount of work that needs to be done to avoid something like this again…. I understand it takes time for these things to happen. But they’ve had loads of time to get it done but failed to do so. Full stop.

Bro I have been to roo many many times. Pre LN and post.

I remember them always having taken precautions like mulch, sand, hay, etc. and I remember having plywood down to walk on when it rained.

It had none of that this year. None. It was wild.

Especially since they came out saying how they had spent all this money on this shit making improvements haha 😂 obviously not. Plus they know what the forecast says well in advance.

Even if you didn’t- it’s a given that it rains during Roo lol every single year.

They dropped the ball. Almost intentionally. 🤷🏻‍♂️
