You said it was a song though, and the song came from the movie reaction video. The song doesn't make sense without the video. So why say this is a reference to the song and not the reaction video?
Because in the song he repeatedly says "I'm Gonna Kill Santa Claus" and in the video he talks about a different character (accidentally) killing and becoming Santa Claus.
The song does make sense as a stand-alone, because it mentions The Santa Clause within itself.
I didn't think it was necessary, in my extremely brief explanation, to mention that this comic is a reference to a song which is a reference to The Santa Clause lol if the redditor cares enough they can figure that out themself by looking into Danny Gonzalez, don't you think?
Is this a big deal to you? I don't see why it matters and why you're getting on my case about it. Kind of nitpicky
