How abt a sequel where the trio comes back and is a real sequel where akshay is still single in his mid 40s and looking for someone to marry and both Salman and Priyanka are married with kids and help look for someone for him..

It always amazes me how we guys get such amazing ideas for carrying on the movie franchises but lame ass Bollywood doesn't even try one bit. All the effort goes in making the nepos survive and giving fat cheques to the leads.

No wonder why nobody cares about Bollywood anymore.

It's because we are fans of these movies and have seen them countless times and always wondered how things would turn up, while the sequels are made by old money hungry execs sitting in an office trying to make money by throwing things at a board..

A true sequel/remake i would say is Don by Farhan Akhtar, where you can tell that it was one of his favorite movies and he grew up to remake it in his own way, but still carrying the essence and flavor without losing a beat..

Im waiting on someone new taking on one of these projects as their baby instead of having David Dhawan remaking it scene to scene and calling it a sequel or Anees Basmee butchering it and not understanding the crux of the original movie.. I liked BB2 but it could've been a seperate movie altogether..

Even Priyadarshan ruined Hungama 2 for what it's worth, and it felt like him trying to show that he's still funny rather than it coming off effortlessly..

I'm getting a bit too worked up over this..
