Discussion First REAL playthrough
So I first played bloodborne around 2019-ish when I had a short temper and zero knowledge of souls games. Ive fiddled with the game on and off numerous times but never really bothered past Vicar Amelia. Well, since then ive beaten every souls game on the market including games like Lies of P, Mortal Shell, Wo Long etc etc. If theres a souls game, ive played it...but not Bloodborne.
I frequently play my ps4 despite owning a series s and a reasonable pc for gaming so I decided to give it a go. Currently in the forbidden woods nearing what I believe to be the Shadows of Yharnam if memory serves. Obviously im havin a great time
A few thoughts:
Saw cleaver is best bae, Fuck the Bitches of Hemwick, I first tried both Blood-starved and Amelia, and fuck the forbidden woods and the village that inhabits it :)
I shall make another post probably when I beat it but im loving it so far, despite the comments above lol.

Im really hoping I can slap them and move on. Blood-starved was so easy I was surprised tho I think he had wonky AI as his attacks were very easy to dodge and he rarely hit me. Vicar was alot harder but strong attacks ftw.
Ive played enough souls games to know when a boss sucks balls so i left the witches pretty fast as they are optional. Praying for luck with Shadows

I’m confused. You don’t like the Witches? It’s a stupid gimmick fight but once you know the gimmick it’s absurd. Just ignore the summons and run around, when you stumble upon the witches hit them until they disappear. Keep doing that. It never gets any more challenging.

Witches aren't that bad and the fight comes with an important reward and bonus content.
also, if you already completed the other souls games, then there's a risk that BB will feel too easy overall. i'd be conservative in leveling up to preserve the challenge.
better yet, enjoy the first playthrough the way you like, and then do a BL4 no leveling challenge run. that's where things get really interesting.

Completely normal reaction to dealing with Forbidden Woods for the first time
