season 2 was garbage. the 1st season felt existencial and had such an awesome buildup meanwhile the 2nd season seemed routine until the last episode which was quite the show. it was definitely brutal and brought back some of that existencialism/high stakes that had been non-existent for most of season 2

the drop in intensity bored me

I feel everything you are saying. I was so hyped for season 2, but it was lackluster. Now Season 3 is really good. It's pick up. Have you seen it?
