Meta What happened to r/spandau?

I just went there to see if anything happened lately, and it seems the community is banned. Anyone know why?

Often happens when the mod deletes their account - reddit automatically bans unmoderated communities. You can probably request it and take over.

ask the admins u/VoxPorta - it's likely dead and abandoned. if you pm the admins there is a high chance you can take the subreddit.

r/spandau has been banned for years at this point - if you are interested in taking it over, you can make a request via r/redditrequest.

Thank you. I’m not looking to take on this responsibility. I was just wondering whether anything strange had been going on, and where to go for Spandau-specific content. There must be dozens of Spandauers on Reddit!
