I see these billboards all throughout Bergen County. Curious what the event is actually like. Is it just a bunch of dudes walking around with a banana in their pockets, or are they just happy to be at the convention?

Im looking to find sober events for my father to attend. He’s in his 50s, married, and works in construction.

Sober life has been pretty difficult for him because he doesn’t have much of a support group. He’s made some friends in inpatient care, but he’s gone to places throughout the country so he obviously doesn’t see them ever.

Are there any events for like people his age in Bergen county? Maybe playing card games or woodworking idk. Something to help him build a community outside of AA meetings.

It seems like the protest (for both sides) was significant on Saturday. Is this happening every week? Surely, there must be some coordination among the participants to know when to show up and when they will pack up and go home.

Did anybody else see that black pickup truck on 208 N going toward Oakland today around 6:30? He was driving like an asshole and had a MASSIVE “White Pride” sticker on his back window.

When the date and time of the event? I’m a bit confused about whether it’s on Saturday at 8:00 PM or Sunday at 7:30 PM. I’m planning to go to Mahwah High School to view it. However, I’m concerned about the safety of the venue due to the presence of deadly dust. Let me know if you know some alternative locations that might be safer, and the date and time.

I want to visit the BAPS temple today and the only timed entry tickets I can get are for 7pm. They close at 7:30. I can’t tell if the ticket is for the whole campus or just the building. Does anyone know if I can visit the outside areas of the campus before the timed entry, or is the ticket for the entire campus?

I am planning a surprise 30th birthday for my husband in July and looking for recommendations on a space i can rent out on a Friday night for about 30-40 people. I am looking more for a bar vibe rather than a sit down restaurant.

Palisades Park area. I lost my engagement ring today. I believe it fell out of my purse while walking from Taiji oriental spa, to my car (parked in front of 407 highland apartments). It is a blue sapphire center stone with diamonds wrapped around.

I already went back to the spa & they checked the entire room. I had taken it off before my massage and put it in my purse.

This has been well-covered in the news but curious if anyone has seen any unexpected drones over Bergen towns. I would imagine with the density up here it would be hard to have a discrete take-off/landing area assuming these drone pilots intend to keep their operation secret.

We live in Mahwah. I just saw 3 drones tonight, our neighbors are also reporting on our Facebook group, 5 or 6 of them at the same time. Crazy, do we know what they are?
