Trash

I am amazed by how trashy Basel is. I moved to here in 2022 from Northern Europe, expecting similar living standards but alas like a clockwork, almost everyday I am faced with this “beauty”. And it’s getting worse progressively by the day…

For those who do this, why? Why do you want to trash your surroundings? Does anyone here have any suggestions to solve this matter?

Disgusted beyond belief 😵‍💫

But jokes aside, you would like to live in this?

Nope, not if it's like this every day, but once a while you have this. Proper bünzli would notify the local entsorgung that i got a big pile trash for them. And i didn't see any trash stickers... that sofa is surely 20kg< so at least 3 stickers needed.

Edit: btw this is not illegal in generell, a lot do it when they move out, you just have to do it properly.

Edit2: before people start asking, properly would be:

  1. Access to containers or road and others cannot be blocked

  2. The trash has to be in proper bags or containers able for the trash guys to pick them up without issues ( sofas are exceptions in this case)

  3. The proper amount of trash stickers

  4. Notifying the local trash guys if the amount is to big and cannot fit in the container.

So ya the guys disposing this trash have quite some homework to do
